Article 292
Provisions related to parliamentary hearings
: (1) According to this constitution, a parliamentary hearing shall be held in accordance with the federal law before the appointment of the chief justice, judge of the Supreme Court, member of the judicial council, head or office bearer of the constitutional body, and ambassador appointed on the recommendation of the constitutional council.
(2) For the purposes of sub-section (1), a joint committee of fifteen members shall be formed in accordance with the federal law, consisting of members of both houses of the federal parliament.
(3) A member of the joint committee as per sub-section (2) shall not be allowed to appear in the Supreme Court during the term of the Federal Parliament and plead the case.
